“Are you kidding? I loved beating them at their own game!”

Half (Pick Story)
A New York student becomes involved in a reparations court case for her ancestors malt factory in Dresden that was seized by the Nazis during the Third Reich.
As the case unfolds, she unveils the improbable story of her German great-grandmother Charlotte, her Jewish husband Ernst and their “Mischling” children Franz and Erika. They survived the holocaust and the war in Germany, but lost almost everything in the process.
Based on true events, the series draws on Erika Pick-Halls memoirs Stories of the life I lived, historical research about the Half-Jews and stories that were passed down in my family.
